AOP Saint-Chinian Rosé
Cinsault (70%), Syrah (30%)
When we started, back in 2004, rosé was not trendy yet. Would you say that we were visionary? We don’t think so. At the time it was only a will of freedom in terms of creativity in our first wines. Then there is the name “La Vie en Rose” that meant a lot to us at the time. Despite all the problems and difficulties we were facing we were so happy to finally launch our own range! Now the new name is simply Cambis Rosé because someone protected the brand "La Vie en Rose" and we can't use it anymore.
So, yes, the Rosé is our first wine made of old Cinsaults and Syrah. It’s an elegant rosé with some nice freshness and a good aromatic concentration. It will be perfect for aperitif and will greatly pair with salads, grilled white meat & Asian cuisine.
The best moment to open a bottle of this rosé will be during the year following the vintage, well refreshed, as usual.
